The paper consisted of 100 questions divided into three sections: Quantitative Aptitude with 33 questions, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning with 33 questions, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension with 34 questions.
The duration of the exam was 150 minutes, and there was no sectional time limit. Correct answers were awarded 4 marks, while incorrect answers incurred a penalty of 1 mark.
The Quantitative Aptitude section's questions ranged from easy to moderate difficulty, covering all topics with a focus on the arithmetic portion. A good number of attempts for this section was between 28-30 questions.
The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning section had two sets of DI with a total of 8 questions, and it included questions from various areas of analytical reasoning. The section was relatively simple, and a good number of attempts for this section was between 28-30 questions.
The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section was the easiest of all sections, with 34 questions that could be easily answered within 35 minutes. A good number of attempts for this section was between 28-30 questions.
The total of 120 questions were divided equally into three categories vis. Quantitative ability, Logical reasoning, and Verbal ability.
Every correct answer fetched 4 marks and a mark was deducted for each wrong response, and each segment had a 40-minute time restriction.
There were 40 questions in all in The Quantitative Skills Analysis section. There were multiple-concept questions based on elementary level in this section. An attempt of 27–30 questions was considered as good number of attempts.
Logical reasoning section's difficulty can be categorised as easy-moderate because it was similar to that of the previous year. An attempt of 30–32 questions was considered as good number of attempts.
The section of Verbal ability caught off guard this year. In contrast to prior years, this year the level of difficulty was a little higher. Overall, the section’s difficulty level was moderate. An attempt in the range of 28 – 30 were considered to be good number of attempts.
The paper, as usual, was divided into three sections - Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short-Answer type) and Verbal Ability.
Every correct answer fetched +4 marks and 1 mark was deducted for each wrong response. There were no deductions for the short-answer questions. Each segment had a 40-minute time restriction.
There were 15 questions in total in the section on Quantitative Ability (SA). The questions in this part were moderately challenging, but there was no negative marking. Questions in this area included a broad spectrum of topics from different areas. Despite there being no negative marking, an attempt of 9–11 questions were considered as a good number of attempts.
The Quantitative Ability (MCQs) section's level of difficulty was comparable to the previous years. There were 30 questions like last year. While there were only a few questions from higher mathematics. Majority of the questions examined the students on elementary level of mathematics. Overall, this section was the most challenging. During the sectional time restriction of 40 minutes, a solid attempt is one that answers 18–21 questions.
Verbal Ability (MCQs) section can be considered as moderate as the section had maintained a balance between easy questions to somewhat challenging questions. For a change, this time, there were few short answer type questions based on Para jumbles which had no negative marking. The 45 questions could have easily been answered in the allotted time period. An attempt in the range of 30 – 32 questions for this section was considered as a good number of attempts.
